Trail of Corruption is a quest available in Dragon's Dogma.
Overview[]
- "I've orders to keep watch on a certain wealthy individual and the tribute he pays the duke. In truth, there's evidence that a portion of the gift is being diverted and usurped for personal gain. Had I some record of the tribute, it would serve in a formal inquest. I welcome any information."

Walkthrough[]
Trail of Corruption (quest walkthrough)
Walk upstairs Fournival Manor in the Noble Quarter and collect the Gift Ledger. Submit the ledger to Arsmith in order to complete the quest.
Though not stated explicitly in the quest it seems the wealthy individual may be Fournival, and the document in question is the Gift Ledger found somewhat hidden within his house, Fournival Manor.
The ledger is located on the second floor of the open room at Fournival Manor, next to the fireplace. Simply retrieve the document and hand it in to Arsmith for the reward.

- The in-game text says "Acquire the Tribute Ledger", not 'Gift Ledger'.
- The Gift Ledger which is required for this quest, is also used in the quest Trial and Tribulations as evidence against Fournival. In order to use the item for both quests, a forgery can be made at The Black Cat.
