Thunder Kite Shield

Thunder Kite Shield is a weapon available in Dragon's Dogma.

Description[]

"The result of an unknown smithy's fatal experiment with magick, this shield is forever enchanted with thunder."

Although the shield has a permanent lightning enchantment which boosts magick, the base enchantment does neither bestow the benefits of Thundercounter or Thunder Riposte nor pass lightning enchantment to any other spell or skill incanted with the aid of the shield. (With some minor exceptions that are the shockwaves on completion of casting a spell, and some blocks from Demonswrath)

The unenchanted version of this shield is the Blue Kite Shield, which is not only notably lighter, but also slightly superior in all other respects except Magick.

Sold at Caxton's Armory in Gran Soren, after presenting him with a Gold Idol in the quest Idol Worship.
May be found in a chest within Smugglers' Pass and in a chest in Ophis' Domain.
