- For the hidden stat affecting blocking with shields, see Shield stability.
Stability is an augment available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "Prevents mighty winds from hampering your mobility."
Stability prevents the staggering or knockback effect of wind buffets. Nullified effects include:
- Wing flaps from Harpy species, as well as Cockatrice or the wings of Dragons.
- The roar of a Chimera.
- Interruptions from a Hellhound's Fire Roar.
- Physical effects of Dragon Roar (but not Skill Stifling or Unconsciousness).
- Physical effects from a Wyrm's or Dire Wyrm's icy breath attack (but not Curse or Frozen).
- Stagger from a Ghosts creatures incorporeal 'attacks'; both the rush and the discharge.
- The blow-over and staggering from an Explosive Barrel.
Contrary to its description, this augment does not mitigate the strong wind effect in the Windworn Valley.
Notes[]
- Does not prevent being staggered by ground shockwaves by Cyclops' and Chimera's stomps, yet prevents being staggered by the shockwave produced by Dragons, and other giant flyers', ground slam and liftoff.
- Does not protect against Daimon's vortex attack.
- Though it prevent stagger from A Wyrm's icy breath it doesn't prevent knockdown from a Drake's fiery breath; nor does it protect against a Wyvern's windblast attack.
- The Force Hatchet will still lose charge when the wielder is subjected to strong wing buffets.
- Enemy wind attacks can be also avoided with well timed jumps and with Perfect Blocks.
- The bonus enhancement "Prevents wind from affecting mobility" may be found randomly on Bitterblack Armor Lv.3 leg armor, similar in effect to the Stability augment.
