- Sold by Caxton at Caxton's Armory in Gran Soren, after presenting him with a Gold Idol in the Quest Idol Worship.
- May be found in a Weapon/Armor Pile at Leaper's Ledge in the same pile as the Crowned Hood.
- May be found in a chest in The Tainted Mountain Temple.
- May be found in chests within the Vault of Defiled Truth on Bitterblack Isle.

- Can be found in a respawning bag on a ledge near the northern entrance to the Ancient Quarry.
- Also found by gathering from fallen logs in the Wilted Forest. The logs near Prayer Falls in the Wilted Forest seemed to have more.

- Dropped by a Cockatrice. First encountered in the Main Quest Honor and Treachery and can after completion of this quest be found at Leaper's Ledge in Soulflayer Canyon.
- Additionally found in Post-Game at the Eradication Site and within the Chambers of Apprehension and Resolution in The Everfall (Post-Dragon).
- Sold by Joye in the Chamber of Remorse.

Notes
- Minimum level requirement for use without stamina penalty: 18
- Any Arisen using this weapon below its level 18 requirement will experience rapid stamina loss, with both light attacks and skill usage. In addition, stamina recovery is dramatically slowed. Simply having this bow equipped will deplete stamina, even when the Arisen only uses regular attacks with Rusted Daggers for example.
- In Dark Arisen, this and the Dragon's Rancor are the most powerful shortbows that can be gifted to another Pawn.
