Perpetuation is an augment available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "Causes enchantments to persist for a longer period of time."
Increases the duration of weapon enchantments by 30%.
Notes[]
- Perpetuation is effective only when equipped onto the caster - equipping Perpetuation on the recipient of an enchantment has no effect (excluding self-cast enchantments).
- Works with all Mage and Sorcerer boon, affinity and pact spells, and Mystic Knight enchanter and trance skills.
- Does not extend the duration of the following skills/spells :
- Mage : Spellscreen
- Magick Archer : Ward Arrow, Magick Rebalancer
- Mystic Knight : Abyssal Anguish, enchanted shield spells (e.g. Blessed Riposte)
- Also doesn't extend the duration of debilitations caused by spells, such as silence from Silentium
- Bitterblack Armor Lv.3 with the Bonus Enhancements of "Extends duration of attribute boosts applied to you." also can extend the duration of elemental enchantments ; however it affects the recipient rather than the caster.
- Perpetuation stacks with said arm armor. For example, a Pact cast by a pawn with Perpetuation on an individual with gauntlets bearing this attribute will last for nearly six minutes.
- For general details of enchantments, see Weapon enchantment.
