Hindsight Slash is a skill available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "Ducks backward afore charging in to deliver a slashing blow. Using it as an evasive maneuver increases its power."
A backdashing evasive maneouver followed by a sword strike - if timed to counter an attack the power is greatly increased.
Upgrades to Hindsight Sweep. In Dragon's Dogma, it becomes Hindsight Strike with a suitable Fighter's Ring or Band equipped.

If the attack does not counter a foe's strike it is similar to Broad Cut
Many attacks can be countered, and unlike Perfect Blocks with the shield there need be no contact at all
