So I'm new to Dragon's Dogma and I'm unsure of what you can get when your pawn is hired by another user. I've done some searching around the site and with google but haven't found a clear answer, sorry if this topic is a retread of a previous post. I assume if a pawn is hired for a quantity of rift crystals larger than 0, the pawns creator would get those RC's next time they logged in. But what if the pawn hired costs 0? Is there anything gained by the pawns creator (other than gifted items)?
The Creator gets Rift Crystals for a set amount, the Pawn would have gotten as Experience, while hired by other Players. When Another Player hires a Pawn, that has a higher Level than the Player himself, he/she has to sacrifice some RC, in order to hire that Pawn (if not on Friendlist), But the Player owning this Pawn doesn't get any of those RC.
Additionally Pawns may also increase their Bestiary Knowledge from Enemies, Locations or Quests.
