Griffinbane is a DLC weapon available in Dragon's Dogma.
Description[]
- "An astonishingly light bow capable of dealing equally astonishing damage to griffins and other flying monsters."
Griffinbane doubles attack power to flying creatures such as Harpies, causing increases in damage of double or greater. Dragonkin do not take extra damage.
When facing flying foes both Physical and Magickal attack power are doubled, including character Strength; skill or spell power; weapon strength and magick; Weapon Enchantment magick; and equipment boosts. As a result this weapon can out damage any Shortbow when the facing a vulnerable foe.
In Dragon's Dogma the item was placed in the Arisen's ownership on purchased of the Weapon Pack: The Monster Hunter DLC, with further copies available at The Black Cat. The item is included in Dark Arisen but must be purchased from The Black Cat.
