- This is one of the most powerful Swords available early on; it might see one through much of the first half of the game.
- When drawn from the scabbard, it produces a uniquely elegant, light steel sound different from any other sword in the game.

The White Hawk's Talon is a powerful early game sword, used here to slay a Chimera single handed. The Arisen is undamaged in this Hard mode demonstration, and no armor, curatives, buffs or Wakestones are used.

When wielded wisely, the White Hawk's Talon can be used effectively even when the Arisen is apparently outmatched. In this demonstration, the lone Arisen is handicapped with low level weapons against the Gazer and emerges victorious and unscathed. Hard mode demonstration with no armor, pawns, buffs, curatives or Waketones used.
