Notes[]

  • So far the drake is the only returning dragon enemy from Dragon's Dogma, while Wyrms and Wyverns are not in the sequel, but Wyvern was mentioned by Martin in Readvent of Calamity if the player killed the Lesser dragon, saying "Perchance you mistook an overgrown wyvern for the bringer of calamity" this means there are wyverns and other dragon types too as been said about wyrmslife crystals in a new godsway, Ambrosius said "Only be obtained from drakes and their ilk" meaning there other kinds of dragons out there that are not in game, in the unmoored world are two other types that are from the brine.
  • Drakes are more common than in the first game even before post-game.
  • Unlike the first game, Drakes can cast spells.
  • Drakes of DD2 appear to be mix of all three dragon enemies of the first game

Quotes[]

  • "Arisen.." when it first saw the Arisen
  • "My silent-hearted kin.." When it first saw the arisen
  • "Show me your power!"
  • "I'm your master" when a drake grabs a pawn and starts to possess said pawn.
  • "You cannot escape your fate any more than I" when slain.
  • "Aye, that is the way, chosen one" when slain.
