The Main Quest of Dark Arisen takes the Arisen to Bitterblack Isle.

Main Quest[]

The main quest becomes available on completing Call of the Arisen at The Encampment. The Arisen is notified of a mysterious new island appearing off Gransys's coast, and directed to visit the pier at Cassardis after night. There they meet Olra who can transport the party to Bitterblack Isle.

  • Traversal through Bitterblack is mostly linear, with some side routes for keys, and places to rest.
  • Two shortcuts to Bitterblack Isle Harbor are unlocked during the course of the exploration.
  • Progress is blocked at points by the Gazer and the Dark Bishop which must be defeated, and by doors requiring a Void Key to unlocked.
  • The whole island must be traversed twice and Daimon defeated each time, just as both shortcuts unlocked.
    • Void keys need only be found the first time; the Gazer and Dark Bishop need only be defeated on the first visit.
Note : The main quest on Bitterblack Isle is not noted in the quest log - the progress and meaning of the quest is mostly expounded through conversations with Olra.

REQUEST BOARD

There are three Notice Boards on Bitterblack Isle : at Bitterblack Isle Harbor, the Arisen's Refuge, and The Warriors' Respite. Some quests offered within these boards will also take the Arisen's adventure back to Gransys as well. Request boards have the same function as the Notice Boards found in Gransys, but show signs of cosmetic damage.

Completing these gives a reward of 20,000 Gold and 12,000 Experience Points plus an additional item, and an update to Barroch's stock or additional Gold.
