Shortbows

A weapon made from a curved piece of wood or other flexible materials, whose ends are connected by a string. Shortbows are wielded by Striders and Assassins.

Shortbows generally maximise damage at close range, with damage falling off substantially beyond mid distance. In contrast Longbows perform better at mid and long ranges.

They are quick and fairly effective ranged weapons, designed to maximise damage at close range, whilst maintaining mobility. Shortbows utilize arrows as a main source of damage and these deal Blunt Damage. If used with skill, they can be effective in targeting weak spots, such as heads, eyes, and tails of enemies.
