Defenses Boosted is an Invigoration that reduces damage from physical attacks for a short time.
Generally caused by the use of potions or Angel's Periapt, as well as a few spells such as Spellscreen. Defense in the stat screen is not shown as increased when under the influence of this invigoration.
Damage is reduced by 20% (to 80%), stacking up to four times multiplicatively to a maximum of nearly -60% damage reduction. Both foes and allies are affected in the same way. (For more details see Damage Calculation)
