Boulder is an environmental object found in Dragon's Dogma.
Overview[]
Boulders are large rocks found in precarious location in hilly and mountainous areas, usually top of the slopes and cliffs. Boulders may be set in motion by local vibrations, simply by moving around near one. If stationary smaller boulders can be destroyed with a single blow whilst larger ones will be set in motion if struck.
A rolling boulder deals significant damage to any it hits - the damage cannot be blocked by shields. Some boulders in Gransys can be used to kill your enemies.
Be extra wary of boulders on cliffs or high ground as they may knock you or your pawns off the cliff to an untimely demise.
Locations[]
- On the path between Manamia Trail and Vestad Hills.
- In Moonsbit Pass.
- At the southern end of Pastona Cavern where it meets Windworn Valley.
- In the hills at the northern edge of the Vestad Hills.
- On the paths on either side of the main gate at The Ruins of Heavenspeak Fort.
- As goblin traps at Vault of Defiled Truth.
Notes[]
- All boulders but the biggest may be destroyed by any Vocation.
- The largets ones only by Warrior atacks and heavy spells.
- Pawns will automatically attack nearby boulders, even those already in motion.
- At the Witchwood there are inactive rock slides that show odd physics when triggered.
