Badge of Vows 89 is a Badge of Vows medal obtained during the From A Different Sky quest of the same number. The badge is the remnant of a former Riftstone, collecting it earns a reward of Rift Crystals.
In the original Dragon's Dogma, Badge of Vows 89 is obtained as part of the From A Different Sky - Part 9 DLC quest pack, in Dark Arisen, the quest is included in the base game.

Found within The Tainted Mountain Temple.
Picking up this item grants a reward of 1 Rift Cluster and 1,000 experience. This item can be duplicated at The Black Cat for 18,750 Gold.
Walkthrough[]
Head to The Tainted Mountain Temple and follow the path to the temple proper. The badge is within the first large room with hanging chains, suspended on a chain itself.
The badge may be difficult to spot. Refer to Fig. 1 for its location. The badge in Fig. 2 has been enlarged and enhanced to better depict its location. Moreover, the surrounding area has been lit with Magick Archer's Magickal Radiance. When one knows where to look, despite the poor visibilty, the badge can be shot down or dislodged through other magical or physical means. Pick up the badge to successfully conclude the quest.
The badge may also be knocked down if a battle with monsters takes place within the room. Retrieve it to complete the quest.
