Follow the quest marker. The badge is high up in a hole that acts as a skylight to the cavern. The view in Fig. 1 places the party where the cavern drops down after proceeding left at the fork after descending into the Cassardis well. In other words, the opening on the left leads to the Cassardis well exit. It is advisable to make a save before attempting to shoot the badge down. The badge may be difficult to locate once it is shot down and it may be necessary to revert to the save point.

Badge of Vows #57 may be very difficult to spot even after knowing its exact location. Ranger's Comet Shot or Assassin's Lyncean/Eagle Eye allows one to zoom in and see it more easily. Magick Archer's Magick Radiance skill can help illuminate the dark area and counter the glare from the 'skylight' during the day. Fig. 2 provides the same view as Fig. 1 but the badge has been enlarged and enhanced to better depict its location. Both Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 are thumbnails and will enlarge upon clicking on them.

Once Badge of Vows #57 has been shot down and picked up the quest will successfully complete.

The badge can be found in a small hole just above the ledge used to drop into the room when entering the cave from the [[Cassardis]] well. The badge can be difficult to spot during the day as the hole is filled with light until night sets in. A bow or magic is required to knock the badge down from its perch. Using one of the bow zoom skills like [[Comet Shot]] or [[Lyncean Sight]] can make it easier to locate the badge at the bottom right corner of the hole.  [[Ingle]] or [[High Ingle]], or [[High Brontide]] can knock the badge down.
